A mini school bus and a passenger vehicle collided Friday afternoon in Colebrookdale Township, trapping and injuring several occupants of the vehicle, according to emergency reports.
Initial reports about 2:15 p.m. said the crash occurred in the 400 block of Montgomery Avenue.
The school bus was unoccupied aside from the driver, reports said.
Initial reports said one person was injured and barely conscious. Emergency workers arriving at the scene noted there were people trapped in the vehicle,and called in additional medical units.
Crews used specialized tools to access and remove four trapped victims, reports said.
The last victim was reportedly freed from the vehicle about 2:40 p.m. There was no word on the extent of their injuries.
