Theresa Ann Simpson, age 74, of Erie, resident of Benetwood Apartments, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. She was born in Meadville, PA on August 3, 1951, daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Truax.
Theresa last worked as a cashier at Giant Eagle prior to retirement. She was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and camping. Theresa came from a huge family and loved spending time with them.
Theresa is survived by four sisters: Nancy Bishop, Sandra Glancy (George), Shirley Featsent, and Dolores Schultz; two brothers: Samuel Truax, Jr. and Albert Truax; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Snyder; and two brothers: Jack Truax and William Truax.
