PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women’s tennis team secured its eighth win of the season on Saturday, defeating Temple at the Hamlin Tennis Center, 4-1. 
 
Sasha Motlagh and Liza Tkachenko paired up for the first doubles win for the Red and Blue on the day, 6-2.
 
Maya Urata and Joleen Saw followed with another Penn victory as the Quakers took the lead heading into singles.
 
Lara Stojanovski secured another win in the one spot on the season, defeating Temple’s Irmak Ozturk in two sets.
 
Liza Tkachenko added the next singles win with her fifth singles win of the spring.
 
Joleen Saw added the final singles win at three as she downed Thamara Frasser in three sets and clinched the 4-1 win for the Quakers.
