SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Pennsylvania men’s fencing team ended the first day of the 2026 NCAA Fencing Championships at Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.
 
Antonio Heathcock (saber) and Simon Lioznyansky (epee) lead the charge for Penn after the first day of the tournament, sitting in fifth place at their respective weapons.
 
Saberist Jaesun Yun followed Heathcock and Lioznyansky with 13th place in the saber. Conrad Lo holds 15th in foil, and Joseph Wu sits 19th in epee to round out the Quakers in the top 20 of the championships.
