DORNEYVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) — A Pennsylvania amusement park recently received an award for ride and aquatics excellence.

Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, near Allentown in Lehigh County, received the iROC Audit Excellence Award at the 2026 International Ride Training LLC Safety Conference. The Wildwater Kingdom portion of the park was also recognized with a 2025 Platinum International Aquatic Safety Award.

“This award celebrates a ride operations team’s exemplary performance during the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) Audit, particularly in achieving high standards across the 10 critical components of ride operator safety,” said Cindee Huddy, Owner and Managing Member of International Ride Training LLC (IRT). “This team’s dedication to these essential safety standards is evident and the award shows the team’s hard work throughout the 2025 season.”

“These recognitions underscore the discipline, preparation, and accountability our team demonstrates every day,” said Park Manager Kim Solis. “Safety and operational excellence are foundational to the guest experience we deliver.”
