Center Valley, PA (March 22, 2026) – The DeSales University women’s tennis team earned its first win of the season defeating Elizabethtown College, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon.
DSU swept all three doubles matches as first-years Noelle Holderith and Julia Wiest won 6-4 in the No. 1 spot, first-years Haley Maloney and Kate Gomez won 6-0 in the No. 2 spot, and senior Tara Clark and sophomore Caroline Prince won 6-4 in third position in the lineup.
Wiest, Gomez, Maloney, and Prince were all double winners, taking home singles matches. Wiest won 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 2 spot, Gomez won 6-1, 6-2 in the third spot, Maloney won 6-2, 6-4 in the fourth position, and Prince was a 6-3, 6-2 winner in the fifth flight.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday hosting Eastern University in non-conference action beginning at 3:00 pm.
