Large fight breaks out amongst juveniles at Market Square on Saturday

According to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening, officers responded to Forbes Avenue and Market Square following the report of a large gathering of juveniles. Where a fight involving about 40 individuals broke out.During the incident, some of the juveniles deployed pepper spray, and after officers’ verbal commands to disperse were ignored, police deployed their own oleoresin capsicum spray and restored order.Three juveniles were taken into custody in connection to the incident.EMS treated about 20 individuals at the scene for exposure to pepper spray, and no one was transported to the hospital for further examination.
