Families in Scranton flock to East Market Street for a chance to snag the popular and elusive NeeDoh toys as a local shop hosts a special drop event.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Families in Lackawanna County are lining up to get their hands on a popular kids’ toy.

The Curiosity Shop along East Market Street in Scranton held a drop on Sunday for a toy named ‘NeeDoh’.

Employees tell us they handed out what they call a NeeDoh pass ticket, allowing the kids to choose up to 3 versions of the trending toy.

“We’ve been trying to get these NeeDohs for a good while now. I know they’re super popular, a lot of my daughter’s friends have them at school and there’s certain ones that you just can’t get they’re sold out everywhere,”  said Greenfield township resident Emily Taylor.

Around 600 toys were up for grabs today for the lucky children in Scranton.Â
