Reptile enthusiasts gathered at Scranton’s Electric City Reptile Expo to buy, sell, and trade snakes, lizards, and turtles, with vendors from across the region.
SCRANTON, Pa. — The 10th annual Electric City Reptile Expo was held at the Hilton Conference Center in Scranton.Â
Reptile enthusiasts got the chance to buy, sell and trade various kinds of animals of the reptilian variety, such as snakes, lizards and turtles.
The event also featured dozens of vendors who came out from all over the region for the special day.Â
“We not trying to buy anything and we were walking by and I said if there’s a blood python here it’s the only thing that I might possibly buy and he was just…he was there. I wanted one for months so,” said Nick Beard from Stroudsburg.
A lucky python’s name is now ‘meatloaf’ after being brought home from the expo.Â
