The Penn State Berks International Klub will host a Holi celebration Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Perkins Lawn at the Spring Township campus. The event is free and open to the public. Easter on the Farm
Celebrate Pennsylvania German Easter traditions and the folk culture of the region at Easter on the Farm Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University. The free event features folklife demonstrations, traditional food, performances by folk musicians, kids activities, animals, folk artists and Easter egg hunts (12:30 and 2 p.m.).

Wyomissing egg hunt
Wyomissing’s annual egg hunt takes place Saturday at 11 a.m. in Wyomissing Hills Memorial Park. Children ages 1 through 12 are invited to participate. Staggered start times will be held by age group. This year the Recreation Department is introducing a “Golden Egg” in each age division. The child who finds it will receive a large prize basket. Families will have the opportunity to take photos with Briar the Bunny.

Theology with a Twist
Theology with a Twist presents a program on “Immigration Status & Biblical Witness” April 7 at 7 p.m. in the Kutztown Tavern 272 W. Main St. Attorney Eric E. Winter will lead a discussion on the various classes of immigration, what it takes to legally immigrate to the United States, the complicated relationship between crime and deportations and general immigrant rights. This discussion will be framed with consideration to what the Scriptures have to say about immigration.
The event is free. Food and drink can be purchased in the restaurant downstairs and brought up to the event space. Parking is available in the community lot behind the tavern or on Main Street

The Wyomissing Area Garden Club is hosting “What are Morels?” on April 14 in the Wyomissing Public Library, 9 Reading Blvd., presented by Tori Cieslak, a self-taught amateur mycologist who often finds morels around her local property and surrounding trails. The program is free.
Nun Run
The Missionary Sisters are holding their annual Nun Run 5K and 1M Fun Walk on April 18. The race winds through Gethsemane Cemetery in Muhlenberg Township. Walk for the Animals
Humane Pennsylvania’s 49th annual Walk for the Animals is set for May 2 at the Berks County Fairgrounds in Bern Township. This year’s “Star Wars” inspired theme is “Return of the Walkers!” The public is invited to participate in a 1-mile stroll alongside their dogs, family and friends while supporting Humane Pennsylvania’s mission.

Fashion show fundraiser
Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County hosts its 11th annual Pink Passion for Fashion Show May 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Reading. Local breast cancer survivors who will take the runway in a showcase of courage and confidence. The fashion show, which includes a luncheon, raises funds to support BCSS free programs and services to individuals and families impacted by breast cancer.
