PennDOT is advising drivers along Broad Street in South Philadelphia that, starting Monday and continuing throughout the week, there will be a lane closure and traffic interruptions due to resurfacing work.
In a statement on the project, PennDOT officials said from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday, March 23, 2026 through Friday, March 27, 2026, crews will be working on resurfacing Broad Street between Oregon Avenue and the Navy Yard in South Philly.
PennDOT is alerting drivers that, during these times, there will be a lane restriction and the project could cause traffic backups and delays.
