PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Action News got a first look at the finalists for Visit Philly’s 2026 Liberty Bells awards.

Leaders from Visit Philly made the reveal live at our studios on Monday morning and detailed what the awards are all about.

“So the Liberty Bells Awards are all about instilling civic pride within the community,” said Eric Cortes from Visit Philly. “Because it’s one thing for Visit Philadelphia to say, ‘Go do this,’ but it’s another for residents and visitors to go vote on their favorite in the categories that we have.”

In the category “Most Philly Vibes Per Square Foot,” nominees include the Wanamaker Light Show, McGillin’s Olde Ale House, and Spruce Street Harbor Park.

Next up is “The ‘New-ish’ Attraction” award. This includes places that have existed in and around Philadelphia since the year 2000.

The nominees are Netflix House Philadelphia, Calder Gardens, and the Museum of the American Revolution.

For the “History Made Whole” award, nominees include The President’s House, the Historical Society of Philadelphia, and the Museum of the American Revolution.

Nominees for the “How is this still a hidden gem?” award include Cellar Dog Jazz Philadelphia, Magic Gardens, and Race Street Pier.

And then there’s the award for “Best place to bring your out-of-town” friends.

The nominees are Reading Terminal Market, Cherry Street Pier, and McGillin’s Olde Ale House.

You can vote for your favorite in those categories and more through April 3 at VisitPhilly.com.

The winners will be announced at Visit Philadelphia’s 30th Anniversary Gala on May 14.
