OLYPHANT, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — A cannabis company is planning to close its facility in Olyphant resulting in dozens of people without a job soon.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notice filed with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, PharmaCann, Inc. will close its facility on Life Science Drive in Lackawanna County by May 20th.
60 jobs will be affected, according to the notice.
The company has announced similar moves in other states.
