OPEN anniversary event: Opposing Prejudice Ending Negativity at Keystone College will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a special evening of drag bingo and queer history lessons featuring Trixie Valentine, Thursday, 8-10 p.m., at Evans Hall in the Hibbard Campus Center on the campus in La Plume Twp. The event is presented in collaboration with the college’s Student Activities Office and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. Trixie Valentine is the drag persona of Jacob Kelley, a certified sexologist who provides sex and sexuality education. Kelley’s work focuses on delivering comprehensive, judgment-free and accessible education on sexuality as well as diversity, equity and inclusion. OPEN provides Keystone students who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning and heterosexual a safe space to discuss their feelings and fears related to sexual orientation.
