Multi-vehicle crash on Route 28 near Highland Park Bridge closes 1 lane

A crash involving at least three vehicles occurred Tuesday morning on Route 28 just before the Highland Park Bridge.

One northbound lane was closed, according to PennDOT.

Police, fire and EMS crews were dispatched around 5:50 a.m. to the scene in Aspinwall, an Allegheny County dispatcher confirmed. No one has been taken in an ambulance to a hospital, the dispatcher said.

The lane restriction is estimated to conclude around 8 a.m., PennDOT said.
