“Hadestown,” Oct. 27-Nov. 1, 2026. A twin retelling of the myths of two tragic couples — Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone — as they journey to the underworld and back.
“Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical,” Nov. 24-29, 2026. Max the Dog narrates the Grinch’s schemes in this stage retelling of the holiday animated special.
“Beetlejuice,” Feb. 5-7, 2027. Based on Tim Burton’s film, this musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a teenager whose life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes.
In addition to the Broadway in Pittsburgh season, Cultural Trust officials revealed nearly 40 other performances and attractions coming to the Cultural District as early as this September and continuing through this winter and next spring.

Ahead of the season announcement, Kendra Whitlock Ingram — the Cultural Trust’s president and CEO — confirmed that the new Arts Landing civic space on Penn Avenue along Eighth Street will have a soft-opening ahead of the NFL Draft, with a full opening to come at a later date.
“Last year alone, more than 600,000 people visited the Cultural District for events presented by the Cultural Trust,” Whitlock Ingram says in the season announcement video.
“Next season, I hope we’ll see you at Arts Landing and in our theaters, supporting the arts and artists you love.”
