Beth D. Bristol

OBITUARY

Beth D. Bristol, 86, died peacefully at her home with her daughter Julie by her side, while under hospice care on November 26, 2025, in Loveland, Colorado.

Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Beth was the daughter of the Rev. Oscar L. Grauberger and Marie Ruth (Heist) Grauberger. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce and Larry Grauberger, her son, Terry Bristol, and her former husband, Donald C. Bristol (April 20, 1939 – September 16, 2025).

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Bristol, and her grandchildren, Audrey, Benjamin, Christine, and Taylor. In addition to treasured family members.

Beth married Donald C. Bristol in May 1957 and lived in Colorado, New York, Oklahoma, California, and Pennsylvania. In every place she called home, she was deeply involved in church, family, and community life. While living in San Diego, she worked in marketing and real estate, grew award-winning roses with the San Diego Rose Society, played tennis, enjoyed the beaches, and enthusiastically supported her children’s many school activities.

During her years in Reading, Pennsylvania, Beth served as Vice President of Marketing for the Reading Symphony Orchestra and was a board member of The Children’s Home, an organization serving at-risk children and teenagers. She also introduced, trained, and implemented the Stephen Ministry program at Atonement Lutheran Church.

Following her divorce in 1996, Beth devoted time to her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling.

Beth will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, beautiful smile, compassion, intelligence, courage, and strong faith.

A memorial service will be held on January 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church of Loveland, 533 Grant Ave., Loveland, CO 80537. Light refreshment will follow.
