The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t done adding this offseason.

According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the team is signing Elijah Moore to a one-year deal, bringing in a still-young playmaker with plenty to prove.

Still just 25 years old, Moore lands on his fourth team and is just a season removed from 100 yards with the #Browns.

Moore didn’t make much of an impact in his short stint with the Bills last season, but he showed real flashes in previous years with the Browns and Jets. This includes multiple seasons over 500 yards.

At just 25, this move gives Philadelphia a low-risk shot on a player who has already proven he can produce when given the opportunity.

Elijah Moore Brings Eagles Experience and Upside

Moore adds another experienced option to the Eagles’ receiver room, even if his most recent stretch didn’t produce much.

The 25-year-old appeared in nine games with the Bills last season. He finished with just nine receptions for 112 yards and no touchdowns.

However, his earlier seasons tell a different story. Moore recorded back-to-back years with over 500 receiving yards between his time with the Jets and Browns, showing he can be a reliable contributor when involved in the offense.

In his rookie season with the Jets in 2021, he caught 43 passes for 538 yards and five touchdowns. He followed that with a 446-yard season in his second year.

However, in the2023 offseason, Moore was traded to the Browns. The Browns acquired Moore and a 2023 third-round pick from the Jets in exchange for a 2023 second-round pick.

Moore’s best season came in 2023, when he posted 59 catches for 640 yards. He followed that up with a 538-yard campaign in 2024.

Low-Risk Move Adds Competition to Eagles WR Room

After signing with the Buffalo Bills on a one-year deal following the 2025 NFL Draft, Moore was brought in as a depth option at wide receiver.

However, his time with the team was short-lived.

He appeared in just nine games, totaling nine receptions for 112 yards on 17 targets while struggling to carve out a consistent role in the offense.

He only played roughly 31 percent of offensive snaps and was even a healthy scratch in multiple games.

That limited usage ultimately became a point of tension. According to Ian Rapoport, Moore was seeking a larger role, and the two sides agreed to a mutual parting during the season as Buffalo reshaped its receiver room.

After his release, Moore joined the Broncos. Denver elevated him from the practice squad for the AFC Championship Game, where he caught one pass for 4 yards.

In his entire career, Moore has 209 receptions for 2,274 yards and nine touchdowns.

Now, a change of scenery with the Eagles could be just what he needs. It could give Moore a better opportunity to get back to the form he showed earlier in his career.
