BUT THAT NORTHBOUND LANE ON THE RIGHT SIDE, IF YOU’RE HEADING NORTH, IS CURRENTLY SHUT DOWN. FOR A SMALL SECTION LIKE YOU MENTIONED, THIS IS ON ROCHESTER ROAD, RIGHT ON THE CORNER OF BEN FRANKLIN DRIVE, RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. FOR FOLKS WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE AREA, THE OLD ORCHARD PARK, YOU CAN SEE CREWS ARE STILL VERY MUCH ON SCENE HERE TRYING TO GET THIS WATER MAIN BREAK UNDER CONTROL AND REPAIRED. NOW THERE IS NO WATER FLOWING AT THIS TIME, BUT IF YOU’RE DRIVING UP NORTH, YOU CAN DEFINITELY SEE WHERE THAT WATER WAS STRETCHING DOWN TOWARDS. I CAN TELL YOU WE DO HAVE VIDEO OF HOW FAR THAT WATER EXTENDED. AND IT WAS IT WAS A LOT. IT MADE ITS WAY DOWN THAT HILLSIDE QUITE A BIT. NOW, AS FOR KIND OF WHERE THINGS STANDS IN TERMS OF THESE REPAIRS NOW, WE’RE STILL WAITING ON INFORMATION HOW LONG THESE REPAIRS ARE EXPECTED TO LAST. AND WE’RE WAITING TO LEARN HOW MANY CUSTOMERS ARE CURRENTLY BEING IMPACTED. WEST VIEW WATER AUTHORITY IS THE AGENCY RESPONDING TO THIS SITUATION AT THIS TIME? NOW WE MENTIONED AGAIN, THE BIGGEST THING FOR FOLKS ARE GOING TO HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND IS HOW THIS IS AFFECTING THE TRAFFIC HERE ON THIS SMALL SECTION OF ROCHESTER ROAD. Video shows a small section of Rochester Road near Ben Franklin Drive has dropped to a single lane in meantime.It is unclear on how many customers have been affected by this situation.
