A portion of a busy road in downtown Pittsburgh was partially blocked to traffic due to a police investigation Wednesday evening. Allegheny County dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that officials were called to the corner of Stanwix Street and Fort Duquesne Boulevard around 4 p.m. Sky 4, Pittsburgh’s only news chopper, flew over the scene where police were seen entering a nearby parking garage. K-9 units were also seen searching the area. Dispatchers said no one was taken to the hospital from the scene. It is unclear what led to the incident or if any arrests have been made.
