PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker is keeping with her clean and green mission.
The city and private partners are teaming up to take the filth out of Pennypack Park.
The plan involves tackling illegal dumping, which is an issue in the park.
That trash gets to Pennypack Creek, and then the Delaware River, which is a source of the city’s drinking water.
No dumping signs will also be added in the park.
