North Street Cafe held a soft opening March 2 and a grand opening March 6 at 46 W. North St. in Bethlehem.

StretchLab held a soft opening March 5 at 3051 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township.

Nestly’s Treasures Boutique opened its new storefront March 7 at the Palmer Park Mall, where it offers jackets, vests, sweaters, necklaces, bracelets, purses and sunglasses.

The vintage clothing and decor store Room & Ward Vintage reopened March 7 after it relocated from 26 N. Sixth St. in Allentown to a larger space at 21 N. Seventh St.

Valley Fresh Marketplace opened March 7 at 1384 Hanover Ave. in Allentown.

Norman’s Hallmark opened at Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township

A new Wawa opened March 12 at 1519 Whitehall Mall in Whitehall Township.

Pints & Pies Pub reopened March 13 after a fire forced it close last year at 21 E. Elizabeth Ave. in Bethlehem.

Identity Coffee Co. held a ribbon cutting for its first Lehigh Valley location on March 14 at 855 S. Broadway in Wind Gap.

Oasis: Community Wellbeing Hub held a grand opening open house March 21 at the ground floor of the Walnut Street Garage in Bethlehem.

CLOSURES:

Unclaimed Freight closed March 1 at 2260 Industrial Drive in Bethlehem.

Chick-fil-A temporarily closed March 5 for remodeling at 3750 Dryland Way in Lower Nazareth Township.

La Kang Chicken & Rice closed March 9 at 15 E. Fourth St. in Bethlehem.

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina held its last day of service March 13 at the Airport Shopping Center in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

The New Santiago’s Restaurant and La Cocina de la Abuela announced their temporary closures March 17 after strong winds damaged their building in the 120 block of South Third St. in Coopersburg.

Friendly Book Store announced its closure for March 21 at 300 W. Broad St. in Quakertown, after over 85 years in business.

Weyerbacher Brewing Co. closed March 29 at 518 Bank St. in Emmaus.

February

OPENINGS:

The salon Jolley Beauty Co. announced it reopened Feb. 4 after it relocated from 1003 Chestnut St. in Emmaus to 21 E. Main St. in Macungie.

Selena’s Diner held a grand opening Feb. 5 at 242 W. Main St. in Kutztown, serving cheesesteak omelets, pancakes, eggs, bacon, French toast, sandwiches, burgers, macaroni and cheese bowls, chicken tenders and quesadillas. It previously operated as Letterman’s Diner, which closed Jan. 4.

Caring Hearts Clothing Closet and More held a grand opening Feb. 11 for its new location at 241 Lehigh Gap St. in Walnutport.

The Bacon Strip reopened Feb. 17 at 18 N. Second St. in Coplay, about a year after a fire forced it to close.

El Carbonaso Peruvian Restaurant announced its soft opening for Feb. 19 at 2185 W. Union Blvd. in Bethlehem.

Wawa held a grand opening Feb. 26 at 3015 Lehigh St. in Allentown, where Brass Rail used to operate.

Bincho-Don began a soft opening period on Feb. 28 at the Easton Public Market in Easton, where it offers jerk chicken, braised oxtails, rice and beans, chana dal, escovitch and shrimp.

CLOSURES:

Ashley’s Signature Restaurant closed until further notice Feb. 23 at 229 N. 11th St. in Easton.

The Wicked Botanist closed Feb. 28 at 1133 Third St. in Whitehall Township.

The Hive crafts market closed at 27 E. Belvidere St. in Nazareth and Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township.

Decor Home Furniture & Mattresses announced a closing sale at 2178 W. Union Blvd. in Bethlehem.
