Bethlehem / Nablus / Tubas – Saba:
On Thursday, Zionist settlers erected a tent on land belonging to the Khala’il al-Luz area, southeast of Bethlehem.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA quoted Hassan Breijieh, a researcher specializing in the wall and settlement affairs, as saying that settlers erected the tent on land belonging to the Salahat and Mawaleh families, adjacent to the military hospital.
Breijieh indicated that this signifies the implementation of the Israeli military decision to construct a settler bypass road linking the settlements of Tekoa and Efrat, effectively isolating Bethlehem from its southern countryside.
In a related incident, on Thursday morning, settlers erected tents on Palestinian-owned land in the village of Imrin, northwest of Nablus.
Palestinian local sources reported that a number of settlers stormed the village and erected tents on Palestinian-owned land, located only 500 meters from a house. Last night, settlers erected a new settlement tent near the city of Tubas.
The head of the Yirza village council, Mukhlis Masa’id, reported that settlers erected a settlement tent late last night in the ‘Ayun area, south of Tubas, raising fears that it could be the nucleus of a new settlement outpost.
Palestinian families who were previously forced to leave various areas in the northern Jordan Valley due to settler attacks live near this tent.
