A Northampton County man has died weeks after a crash in Monroe County.

Melvin Moreno, 57, of Lehigh Township, was pronounced dead Wednesday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, after a two-vehicle crash March 5 in Stroud Township, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said in a news release. The driver of the other vehicle was also killed.

The crash happened near Route 611 and Wigwam Park Road about 3 p.m. that day, the release sates. His death was caused by complications from multiple blunt-force injuries, with the manner accidental.

Stroud Area Regional police said a woman drove her vehicle southbound when she crossed into the northbound lane, hitting Moreno’s vehicle. Both were hospitalized, and the woman, Sharlin Forestier, 32, of Coolbaugh Township, died from her injuries, the department said in a news release.

The Monroe County coroner determined her death was caused by blunt-force trauma, with the manner accidental.
