A popular Erie County burger business is growing again. Bro Man’s Birria N’ Burgers is opening a brand-new location in Millcreek, giving customers more space and better service.
Bro Man’s Birria N’ Burgers is settling into its new home on West 26th Street. Owner Stephen Stanbro says the move couldn’t have come at a better time. He explains that the old space couldn’t keep up with demand, and the larger kitchen finally gives his team room to work.
“It’s great. It’s great for me to be able to employ people, give some people opportunity along with my family. A lot of our family works together here to provide the services that we do,” Stanbro says.
What started as a food truck, then grew into a restaurant, is now entering a new chapter. Stanbro says this new standalone location gives them the ability to better serve their customers.
“The golf location was nice for when it worked, but it’s nice to have our own standalone spot where we can provide better service to our customers.” Stanbro says.
The new space seats about 30 people, allowing customers to sit down and enjoy favorites like the birria tacos.
“Stop down for Bro Man’s. You’ve got to try the birria tacos. They are absolutely fantastic, and unfortunately it’s right next to my building, so my waistline’s going to be feeling it,” Kim Clear Millcreek Township supervisor joked.
Many customers say they’ve been waiting for this expansion, calling it a win for the community. They describe Erie as a place full of small businesses, full of growth, and very vibrant.
“Erie is full of small businesses, full of growth, and very vibrant. From the first day I came here, they’ve been so homestyle. They greet you by your name, ask how you’re doing, and ask if they can help you at all. I really appreciate that,” customer Carter Bedinghaus says.
Millcreek Township’s supervisor also sees this as a positive step for a corridor that continues to grow.
“We’re always looking to support our local vendors and make sure that they’re here and can thrive in Erie County and Millcreek Township,” the supervisor said.
Bro Man’s Birria N’ Burgers will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 to 7, and Friday and Saturday from 11 to 8.
“It’s been a great ride so far, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us,” Stanbro says.
