BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Parx Casino will open its first hotel on Thursday, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new Parxview Hotel.

The ceremony takes place at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the hotel on 3327 Street Road.

The hotel is a completely smoke-free property located steps from Parx Casino and about 20 minutes from Center City Philadelphia.

The project also includes the debut of Bistro at Parxview, a new restaurant and bar at the site.

Parxview Hotel has 160 guest rooms in four room categories, including 16 suites. Amenities listed by the casino include complimentary on-site parking, a fitness center, a seasonal outdoor pool deck, shuttle service between the hotel and casino and the Bistro at Parxview Hotel.

Parx Casino said invited dignitaries for the event include Bensalem Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, Sen. Frank Farry, state Rep. K.C. Tomlinson, Bucks County Commissioner Gene DiGirolamo, and several local officials and Parx executives.
