Neighbors shared these pictures with us, showing just how intense the fire got. The second floor was heavily damaged.
“I was actually at work when I got the phone call, and got the pictures from my son,” said Michele Miller, a neighbor.

Miller lives right next door. She rushed home, worried the fire was spreading.
“Just left work devastated because I knew it was affecting my side of the house, catching on fire,” Miller said.
She says her home was also damaged by the heat.
“I have some windows that are smashed out, and the side of my house is melted,” she added.
Fire officials say everyone inside made it out safely, but the homeowner tells 69 News, one dog did not survive.
At the same time, crews were also dealing with a water main break, just steps away from the fire. A deputy chief told 69 News the break did not impact firefighting efforts.
A traffic advisory was also put in place, warning drivers about heavy smoke drifting into nearby roads, including Penn Avenue.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
