Erie VA Medical Center

The VA Medical Center in Erie (VAMC) has been recognized by the Veterans Health Administration Customer Experience (VHA CX) with an award for the Best Patient Experience Award for facility complexity level 3.

This recognition demonstrates the priority of the VA Medical Center to ensure patients have an exceptional experience.

The VHA CX recognizes facilities that continue to provide excellence in service to Veterans, families, caregivers and survivors. Those who are honored with this award are selected based on strong performance across key customer experience measures, leadership attributes, internal controls and operational standards.

This is the second time that Erie VA has been recognized, the first in 2023.

“We are honored to receive this award for the second time in four years,” said John A. Gennaro, the Erie VA Medical Center Director. “This designation speaks volumes to the professionalism and care of our staff and how seriously we take our mission of serving Veterans.”
