PITTSBURGH, PA — Hospitals are places where it’s far more common for babies to be delivered than millionaires to be made.
But a Pittsburgh hospital has sold a $1.5 million-winning Cash Spectacular lottery ticket. UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital on Halket Street in Oakland will receive a $10,000 payment for selling the winner.
Cash Spectacular is a $30 game scratch-off game that offers top prizes of $1.5 million.
As a reminder, Scratch-Off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date posted at palottery.com. Winners should immediately sign the back of their ticket and call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
Scratch-Offs are distributed at random, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold.
