Sofia Goetter had three goals and an assist to lead No. 3 Mid Valley to a 7-0 victory over No. 6 Nanticoke Area in the District 2 Class 2A girls soccer quarterfinals Saturday at Mid Valley.
Adyson Zabriski tacked on three assists, and Gwen Mazur had a goal and an assist for the Spartanettes.
Mid Valley will face No. 2 Lake-Lehman on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the semifinals at Lake-Lehman.
Penelope Serrano had 16 saves for the Trojanettes.

Sara Horsley had four saves in her first career start, and Brooklyn Yankow scored her first varsity goal. Allison Stanton added two goals, and Eva Kane had one goal and two assists for the Lady Comets.
Abington Heights will host No. 3 Valley View on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the semifinal.
Reagan Anderson had 13 saves, including the 200th of her career, and Lexi Laing and Fiona Shanaberger each added a goal for Wallenpaupack.

Emma Pitcavage added an assist, and Paige Banks had three saves to secure the shutout for the Mountaineers, who will face No. 1 Crestwood in the semifinals Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Crestwood.
Marlie DeRenzis had 11 saves for the Trojans.

Lake-Lehman 11, Old Forge 1: At Lake-Lehman, Kinley Purdy and Ava Blazes combined for seven goals as the second-seeded Black Knights advanced to Wednesday’s semifinals.
The Black Knights will host either No. 3 Mid Valley or No. 6 Nanticoke Area.
Purdy had a hat trick in the first half, added a goal in the second and finished with three assists. Blazes had a hat trick as well, as Ellie Kontra, Hannah Chipego and Alexis Hudak all found the back of the net.
Mia Peregrim had the lone Old Forge goal.
