On Monday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will be in Miami to take on the Heat.

The 76ers are coming off a 118-114 victory over LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.

Joel Embiid finished with 29 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks while shooting 8/19 from the field and 3/6 from three-point range in 36 minutes of playing time.

For Monday’s game, the 76ers will have Embiid available, as he is not on the injury report.

Ira Winderman of Sun Sentinel wrote: “76ers listing Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and VJ Edgecombe as all available for Monday night at Heat.”

Embiid has still been an elite player when he’s on the floor.

The 2023 MVP is averaging 26.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 49.8% from the field 34.0% from three-point range in 35 games.

The 76ers come into the night as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 41-33 record in 74 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and have won seven out of their last ten).

On the road, the 76ers have gone 20-16 in the 36 games they have played away from the Wells Fargo Center.

Following the Heat, the 76ers will play their next game on Wednesday night when they visit the Washington Wizards.

Last season, they missed the 2025 NBA playoffs.

The Heat will be on the second night of a back-to-back, as they are currently playing the Indiana Pacers (in Indiana).

At home, they are 23-14 in 37 games.
