SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Some shoppers are getting their “Fall Feels” indoors this weekend in Scranton. The Marketplace at Steamtown hosted a Pop-up Harvest Fall Market on Saturday at the Scranton Public Market.

More than two dozen vendors participated on the second floor.

Shoppers browsed items, including all sorts of baked treats, farm goods, and homemade items, too.

The Harvest Market is one of three pop-up markets so far this year at the former mall.

“It’s fantastic. It’s great. We’ve had a lot of people come over. A lot of interest. It’s really nice. We really love it,” Scarlet Vannan with Maximum Zen Bakery told 28/22 News.

“We really try to curate an assortment of fall-type vendors for this pop-up market to promote small businesses within our region,” Scranton Public Market Marketing Event Director Cristin Powers stated.

Two more pop-up markets are scheduled by the end of the year at the marketplace at Steamtown.

One is set for Saturday, November 22, and the other on saturday, December 13.
