Two people suffered injuries, police said, after their vehicle left the roadway and crashed through a fence and into a building in Philadelphia’s East Falls section, early Sunday.

According to officials, the incident happened at about 11:55 p.m. on Sunday, when a vehicle left the roadway near the intersection of Roberts Avenue and Fox Street in East Falls, and traveled through a chain-link fence before striking the side of a building there.

Two people inside the vehicle — who officials did not immediately provide additional identifying information on — suffered “minor injuries” in the crash, police told NBC10.

As of about 7 a.m., on Monday, officials have not said what may have led to this incident or if the driver involved would face any charges following the crash.

But, police said, an investigation was underway.
