AHN Saint Vincent Hospital celebrated March 26 with a special breakfast and luncheon. A ceremony was held to honor hospitalist Hisham Abusamhadana, MD, and orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician Mark Buseck, MD for their exceptional work.
Both honorees from Saint Vincent will receive a gift of $500 to provide to a local charity of their choice. This year the nominees chose to gift their donations to Asbury Woods and Emmaus Ministries Soup Kitchen.
The two physicians honored had been nominated directly by the hospital’s medical staff. The nominees are chosen by the Medical Executive Committee members.
National Doctors’ Day is recognized each year on March 30 as a way to thank physicians for their ongoing dedication and commitment to the healthcare field.
