U. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – In recent months, Promenade Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township has welcomed more than a half dozen new tenants, including Sunglass Hut, Norman’s Hallmark and Barley Creek Taproom Saucon, and another addition just joined the shopping center’s roster.
Mental Strength Ritual held a soft opening last week and will hold a grand opening in late April in Suite 610, next to Altar’d State, according to Christine Kolodi, Mental Strength Ritual’s executive director.

Mental Strength Ritual is a “unique wellness destination specializing in an FDA-cleared technology called Transcranial Mental Stimulation,” according to a recent news release.
Designed to help guests reset and restore their physical and mental well-being, the studio provides a guided experience for those looking to enhance their health through cutting-edge recovery methods.
“Mental Strength Ritual serves as a guiding light in the ongoing journey to treat depression, anxiety, and OCD, particularly in cases of treatment-resistant depression,” a mission statement reads.
“We utilize BrainsWay’s Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (Deep TMS), a unique non-invasive, FDA Cleared therapy that uses magnetic fields to address various mental health conditions. Our mission is to provide this revolutionary treatment and educate patients, empowering them to improve their lives through effective treatment and support.”
Mental Strength Ritual was founded by Adam Wallach, M.D., and Olga Chugusova, M.D., a married couple residing in the Lehigh Valley.
Dr. Wallach has 20 years of experience as a board-certified neuroradiologist, while Dr. Chugusova has 15 years of experience as a dietitian, family physician and hospitalist.
The couple recognized that mental health was often viewed as just a component of healthcare rather than a foundational aspect.
Frustrated by the modern healthcare system’s slow recognition of this issue, they concluded that mental health is essentially brain health, which “is indeed foundational,” and the brain shapes our understanding of the world around us and within us, according to an online account.
In light of this realization, they took action and established Mental Strength Ritual.
“Both are passionate about raising awareness of the life-changing and potentially life-saving technology of Deep TMS,” the online message continues.
“Dr. Wallach is actively researching its potential for treating complications of stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Chugusova serves as the Medical Director in their office, working closely with the medical team.”

More Promenade changes
Mental Strength Ritual joins a growing roster of tenants at Promenade Saucon Valley.
Sephora, where shoppers can explore an “unrivaled selection of makeup, skincare, hair, fragrance and more from classic and emerging brands,” is planning to open a new retail store on Thursday, April 2, according to Patrick Turner, Promenade Saucon Valley’s general manager.
The new store, located near Athleta, will hold a grand opening promotion where individuals visiting on April 2, 3 and 4 could win a Sephora gift card for $100, $50 or $20 or a limited-edition makeup bags, while supplies last.
Sephora, headquartered in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, was founded in 1969.
Today, the company is in 35 markets worldwide with more than 3,200 points of sale and over 30 e-commerce sites.
In the Lehigh Valley, Sephora operates another store at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township, along with a handful of Sephora at Kohl’s locations – operating within Kohl’s retail stores.
Another new addition at Promenade Saucon Valley is Norman’s Hallmark, a popular retailer offering Hallmark cards, Keepsake Ornaments and a wide selection of gifts, home decor, fashion, books, stationery, games and gourmet items.

The new location of Norman’s Hallmark held a soft opening on March 9 between Capital Blue Cross Connect and Bath & Body Works.
The Upper Saucon store is in its soft-open phase, with a grand opening – featuring sales, giveaways and other festivities – planned for April 9, according to Kim Dunn, marketing director at Norman’s Hallmark.
Norman’s Hallmark, an employee-owned company with 85 years of experience, operates 100 locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
Other nearby Norman’s Hallmark locations operate on West Emmaus Avenue in Allentown, North Cedar Crest Boulevard in South Whitehall Township, North West End Boulevard in Richland Township and at the Palmer Park Mall in Palmer Township.
Other Promenade Saucon Valley happenings include the recent relocation of two tenants and a dining destination that’s under development.
Smartivities Showcase
Last month, Smartivities Showcase, a woman-owned and family-operated artist market and creative space offering handmade gifts, art supplies, pottery classes and more, completed its move from its former Promenade location – totaling around 3,000 square feet – to a larger location that spans more than 4,000 square feet.
Smartivities’ new location is in Suite 103, next to L.L. Bean.
Suite 103 was previously occupied by Dolly’s Dressing Room, a business offering a stylish, trend-driven selection of prom dresses, wedding apparel and more, which also recently moved to a new location at Promenade Saucon Valley.
Lastly, Wonder, a new 3,023-square-foot restaurant, is expected to open by summer 2026 and will be located adjacent to Elite Salons & Suites.
Wonder offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that allows guests to order dishes from more than 20 restaurant brands, available for dine-in, pickup, or delivery. The platform partners with world-renowned chefs including Bobby Flay, José Andrés, and Marcus Samuelsson, as well as iconic restaurant brands such as Tejas Barbecue and Di Fara Pizza.
In recent months, Promenade Saucon Valley welcomed six other new additions: The Kawaii Shop, Barley Creek Taproom Saucon, Sunglass Hut, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, Color Me Mine, Relux and Luxe Events & Designs.

The Kawaii Shop, offering authentic Japanese gifts, snacks and more, opened in late 2025 in Suite 814, near Carter’s and OshKosh.
Shoppers can browse a wide assortment of items, including artwork, handbags, plush figures and candy.
Barley Creek Brewing Company, a popular Poconos-based microbrewery offering Pennsylvania-made craft beer, spirits and wines, in November opened its new Barley Creek Taproom Saucon at Promenade Saucon Valley.

The new 3,119-square-foot taproom, operating between Melt and Kome, brings Barley Creek’s award-winning craft beer, small-batch distillery products, scratch-made food and signature hospitality to the Lehigh Valley.
The new location features a full restaurant and bar, with guest favorites including wood-fired pizzas, burgers, appetizers and hearty pub fare.
In late October, a new location of Sunglass Hut, a destination for premium, luxury and sport eyewear, opened in a 797-square-foot space between American Eagle and Bath & Body Works.

Sunglass Hut, founded in 1971, has grown into a global brand with more than 3,000 retail locations and a robust online presence.

Also in October, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation opened a new, 4,700-square-foot outpatient physician practice at Promenade Saucon Valley.

The new outpatient practice, which is located at 2845 Center Valley Parkway (Suite 450) across the street from Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, is home to Good Shepherd’s Physician Group, according to a news release.
Good Shepherd’s physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) doctors, also known as physiatrists, specialize in caring for people with disabilities, as well as patients recovering from or needing care for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injuries, chronic pain and more.
Additionally, Color Me Mine, a contemporary paint-your-own pottery franchise, held a soft opening in late August, and Luxe Events & Designs, a premier event planning and design studio, hosted a grand opening week from July 22 to 29.

Promenade Saucon Valley has also recently bid farewell to some businesses, including The Hive, a market carrying hand-crafted items from Lehigh Valley area vendors, which closed in February; a location of Bar Louie, a chain of full-service restaurants offering freshly prepared drinks, sandwiches, entrees and more, which closed in late August; and GailGray Home Furnishings and Design, a full-service interior design studio and home furnishings store, which closed in late summer.
