The Sixers have just two players listed on the injury report. The second-round rookie Johni Broome continues his inactive streak as he recovers from a knee surgery.
Tyrese Maxey is listed, but he’s available against the Heat. Barring any sudden setbacks, the star guard is set to play in his second-straight game for Philadelphia, after missing several weeks’ worth of action.
This season, Maxey is averaging 28.9 points per game, while coming down with 4.2 rebounds and producing 6.7 assists per game. The two-time All-Star has shot 46.2% from the field, while knocking down 37.4% from three.
In his first game back on March 28 since March 7, Maxey posted 26 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds in the 118-114 Sixers win over the Charlotte Hornets.
Beyond Maxey, the Sixers are fortunate to still have Joel Embiid, Kelly Oubre, and Paul George still in the mix. They have all held up well after having extended absences.
