Shots fired in City of Erie prompt police investigation

City of Erie police responded to a shots-fired call on West 4th Street in the early morning hours Saturday.

According to the police department, the call came in around 2 a.m.

Police were dispatched to a bar and grill on the 700 block of West 4th Street, recovering multiple shell casings.

The incident is under investigation. Currently, there are no known victims.

Police have not found damage to any nearby properties.
