LEHIGH CO., Pa. – Litter removal along Interstate 78 in Lehigh County caused a major traffic backup Monday afternoon.
The work is being done between the Berks and Northampton County lines.
78 was down to just one lane in that area.
And that led to a miles-long line of stopped vehicles and delays of at least a half-hour.
Litter removal in this area is expected to continue throughout the week — from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
