The Jefferson Education Society will host Great America Trivia, a trivia fit for those who know a lot about the Nation and its history. Four enthusiasts and historians are seeking nine masters of trivia to compete in the USA 250 Great America Trivia Challenge.
The Round 1 matches will take place on May 20, May 21, and May 26. The Championship Game is set for May 27.
Those who win the first round will receive a $1,000 cash prize; the overall winner of the games will win a $2,000 cash prize. All contestants will receive a consolation prize.
To participate all must register online and complete a qualifying exam that will take place on April 13 at 11 a.m. and April 16 at 7 p.m. at the JES building.
Qualifying exam registration is processed on a first come, first served basis. Each session allows for 75 people.
The top nine scorers of the exams will be able to participate and will be assigned a date at random. If someone who is selected cannot participate an alternate that was previously selected will be able to participate.
The community and supporters are encouraged to attend as a live audience and can register online here.
