The health system announced three new hires in key roles.

Holly Eichhorn, MHA, NHA, joined as executive director of Allied Services Meade Street Campus in Wilkes-Barre. Eichhorn earned a bachelor’s in health care administration with a minor in business administration, as well as a master’s in health care administration, both from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre. Eichhorn brings over 20 years of experience in health care management, beginning her career in 2004 and advancing through leadership roles including nursing home administrator and certified mentor in a leadership development program. Eichhorn’s vast and expansive knowledge of the health care system guides her in staying current with ever-evolving regulations and positions her for continued excellence in the field of personal care residencies at Allied.

James Duffy, MS, OTR/L joined the Allied Services Wilkes-Barre Rehab Center. Duffy graduated with a master’s in occupational therapy and a bachelor’s in psychology from Misericordia University in 2018. Duffy started with Allied in August 2025, bringing more than seven years of experience and expertise in areas of stroke rehabilitation, brain injury, Parkinson’s, MS, spinal cord injury and major multitrauma rehabilitation. Duffy commits himself to the clients he serves, using a broad swath of modern techniques, combined with new technologies in the physical/occupational therapy field.

Leann Everett, PT, MPT, joined the Allied Services Pediatric Rehab Center in Wilkes-Barre. Everett graduated from Misericordia University in 2009 with a master’s in physical therapy, focusing on pediatric care. Everett comes with a considerable knowledge base of pediatric settings, gaining experience across various pediatric therapy environments, including, most recently, school-based therapy. At Allied, Everett works within the children’s pediatric department in Wilkes-Barre, helping young patients reach their fullest potential through personalized, compassionate care.

The consulting firm is entering a new era of leadership with the appointment of Andrew Lawler as president, effective Sept. 1. Lawler, a seasoned executive with a distinguished background in both military and civilian sectors, succeeds Kevin Campbell, PE, LEED AP, who will continue to serve as CEO after two decades of dedicated service and strategic leadership at the firm.

Campbell has played a pivotal role in its growth and success. His continued leadership as CEO will ensure a smooth transition and sustained strategic direction.

Lawler joined the company in 2024 as chief operating officer, bringing with him more than 25 years of leadership experience across military, engineering and construction sectors. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he served as a KC-130 pilot in the Marine Corps, including multiple combat deployments. His civilian career includes leadership roles at Lutron Electronics, VEC Inc. and West Side Hammer Electric, where he drove strategic growth and cultural transformation.

Under Campbell’s leadership, the company has expanded its geographic footprint, diversified its service offerings and strengthened its culture of collaboration and community engagement. Lawler’s promotion signals a continued focus on strategic growth and operational excellence.

In addition to Lawler’s promotion, the firm announced a historic governance transition with the election of Jennifer Isett, vice president of business operations, as chair of the board. Jennifer succeeds her father, Barry Isett, the company’s founder, who will step down from his role as board chair and assume the honorary title of chair emeritus. Her appointment marks a meaningful continuation of the Isett legacy and a forward-looking step for the firm. As part of this transition, Barry Isett appointed Kevin Campbell to the board, further reinforcing the company’s leadership continuity.

Attorney Bruce S. Zero of Moscow has been recertified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA).

The NBTA, the first national board-certifying organization accredited by the American Bar Association, is a nonprofit committed to raising the standards of trial advocacy and helping consumers identify highly qualified legal representation.

Its board certification, the profession’s highest, most rigorous and most reliable credential, requires substantial trial experience, judicial and peer endorsements, advanced legal education and adherence to the highest professional standards.

Zero, a partner at the law firm, has been practicing law for 41 years. He earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Zero has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year since 2007. He also serves as president of Lackawanna Pro Bono Inc. and as chairman of the Pennsylvania Lawyers Fund for Client Security.

The health system announced the addition of Taylor Hook, PA-C to its pediatric care team. Hook, who has been seeing patients from newborn to age 18 at the Sterling Pediatric Center over the past month, comes to WMCHC with more than two years’ experience offering high-quality, compassionate care.

Hook received a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in medical studies from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre. She spent the last two and a half years as a family medicine physician assistant at Geisinger Medical Group in Kingston.

The health system welcomed Catherine Patrick, DO, who will be serving a dual role within the organization. In addition to providing primary care to patients age 14 through adult at the Highland Physician Family Health Center, Patrick has also been appointed associate program director of WMCHC’s Family Medicine Residency Program. The program officially launched in July.

Prior to joining WMCHC, Patrick was employed as a primary care physician at PrimeMed Medical Group in Dunmore, where she had been practicing since 2019. Additionally, she serves as faculty for A.T. Still University.

After receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Lake Erie College, Erie, Patrick completed her residency in family medicine at the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in neuroscience with a minor in biochemistry from the University of Scranton.

The Honesdale Behavioral Health Center, part of the health system (WMCHC), announced the addition of board-eligible psychiatrist Ferney Paez, M.D., to its behavioral health team. Paez treats patients of all ages for a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses through a combination of medication management and other treatment approaches. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to interact with patients in the language they are most comfortable with.

Paez completed his general psychiatry residency at the Texas Tech Health Science Center of El Paso. While living in his native Colombia, Paez earned a medical degree as a physician and surgeon, from Universidad Industrial de Santander, Escuela de Medicina. He spent over four years as a general practitioner and emergency room physician at various Colombian health care facilities before turning his focus to psychiatry.
