On Monday afternoon, a group of concerned citizens gathered outside the Federal courthouse in Downtown Erie in hopes of getting answers. Their goal was to connect with a staffer from the Office of U.S. Senator John Fetterman and express their concerns directly.

Organizers said they are dissatisfied with the Senator’s recent votes and positions, arguing that they do not reflect the views of many constituents. The group is calling for changes in how the senator represents Pennsylvania in Washington. “The senator needs to understand the depth and intensity of the displeasure his constituents feel,” said event organizer Freda Teper. “We don’t feel like he’s representing us.”

Attendees emphasized that the purpose of the gathering was to ensure their concerns are acknowledged and communicated to the senator’s office.
