HOPPEL, JASON L., 50, Ebensburg, passed away suddenly following an automobile accident while traveling to work on Friday, March 27, 2026.  Born October 2, 1975, in Spangler, the son of Mel and Karen (Huether) Hoppel of Northern Cambria.  Preceded in death by brother, Jerod Hoppel.  Survived by loving wife of 10 years, Melanie Horvath, Ebensburg; parents, and children, Graci Hoppel, Kittanning; Emily Hoppel, Caleb Horvath, and Lyla Horvath all of Ebensburg.  Also survived by sisters, Melinda (Mark) Prasko, and Marcy (Scott) Bradley, both of Northern Cambria; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Juliana (Dumm) Horvath, Ebensburg; brother-in-law, Robert W. Horvath, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Also, cousin, who was like a brother, Kenny and Brandi Wargo.  Employed by Fullington Auto Bus Co. as a manager.   Jason lived his life with sincerity and kindness.  He was loyal to his friends, devoted to his family, and carried himself with a gentle nature that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.
