A nearly 13-acre property near the Bethlehem city line and numerous warehouses has been sold to a New Jersey firm for $3 million, according to public county tax records.

The 12.7 acre parcel at Mockingbird Hill and Easton roads in Lower Saucon Township was purchased earlier this month by Menlo Executive Associates I LLC of Edison, N.J., according to the Northampton County property records database.

Menlo Executive Associates I LLC is a company associated with real estate sales and development, according to public data.

Built in 1975, there is a home on a 1-acre site that is part of the property at 3880 Mockingbird Hill Road, per public records.

The property is currently zoned rural agricultural, according to county data, and county taxes on it are less than $800 a year.

Warehouse and more recently data center development have become topics of concern for residents and planners in the area.

As of March 31, it was unclear what–if anything–the new owner’s plans for the property might be, and nothing had been scheduled for discussion by township planners or zoners.
