93rd Annual Easter Promenade
The 93rd Annual Easter Promenade is back on Sunday, April 5. Held rain or shine from noon to 3 p.m., this free, family-friendly celebration invites guests of all ages (and pets) to show off their most festive Easter style. The promenade kicks off at 5th & South Street, parading down to Headhouse Plaza, where a Best Dressed Contest will take place with creative categories, prizes, and more. Everyone who attends will also get free bunny ears, photos with the Easter Bunny and sweet treats.
Otherworld Philly
The Great Bunny Quest is live now through April 6 at Otherworld Philadelphia. This immersive Easter-themed experience invites guests to explore the space on a scavenger hunt, searching for Dr. Sperringer’s “hidden bunnies” to earn a prize. The experience brings new story elements and characters to the venue, and tickets (starting at $19.99) are available online.

The Barnes Foundation
Locals can nab Easter cookie decorating kits at the venue’s Reflections Café to celebrate the holiday, or kids can paint egg and bunny-shaped cookies with colorful icing while here. Families can also head to the Garden Restaurant on April 5 for some special Easter menu additions.

Philadelphia Zoo
Philadelphians can participate in a relaxed Easter Egg Hunt, taking place Friday, April 3, Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for children ages 2 to 12; or an ongoing Egg-cellent Egg Search to learn about 10 unique eggs in the animal kingdom (at the venue until April 12). The Zoo is also hosting a Bunny Brunch this Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon or 1 to 3 p.m. and tickets ($59-$69) include Zoo admission for the day, a full all-you-can-eat brunch buffet, a meet-and-greet photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny and an encounter with one of the Zoo’s ambassador animals.

This Old City favorite offers a festive lineup for baskets, egg hunts, and brunch tables, including their signature buttercream eggs, bean-to-bunny chocolates, gourmet goose eggs, and artisan assortments inspired by seasonal flavors. Shoppers can also find pre-made gift baskets, speckled malt balls, caramel “robin’s eggs,” and specialty confections like honey lavender caramels and lemon shortbread eggs. All of these treats will be available through Easter Sunday.

East Broad Top Railroad
This Saturday, April 4, the East Broad Top Railroad will offer “Easter on the Rails”, a one-hour train trip aboard America’s oldest and operating narrow-gauge railroad. The Easter Bunny will be on the ride to snap some photos, and there will also be an egg hunt and a gift for each child. Tickets run for $18-$24, and departure times are set for 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m.
