CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA (WHTM) — Months after the Iron Hill Brewery closed all of its locations and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, it announced plans to reopen several establishments here in Pennsylvania.

abc27 news reported back in September 2025, when the Iron Hill Brewery first announced online that it would be closing all its locations spanning Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Georgia.

Now, months later, Iron Hill Brewery confirmed it would soon be reopening the following five locations:

101 West Chocolate Avenue (Hershey, Pa.)

781 Harrisburg Pike (Lancaster, Pa.)

785 Huntingdon Pike (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.)

1150 Market Street (Philadelphia, Pa.)

620 Justison Street (Wilmington, DE)

The first reopening will be their Center City location in Philadelphia, which is slated to take place in mid-April 2026.

An exact opening date was not provided for the other locations in Pennsylvania and Delaware.

“Iron Hill was built on a simple promise: scratch-made food, craft beer, and elevated service in a
casual, welcoming atmosphere,” Founder Mark Edelson said. “The team and I are honored to bring that promise back to many of the communities that made Iron Hill home.”

According to Iron Hill Brewery, the executive team leading the charge for their return includes Founder Mark Edelson; Director of Operations Alexis Lundeen; Chef Walter Weddington III; Regional Brewer Matt Gundrum; and General Manager Eric Maney.

“We’re not just reopening a restaurant,” Chef Walter Weddington III said. “We’re creating a gathering place where every guest feels welcomed, and every team member is treated with respect and dignity. This is about people, passion, and perseverance.”

Upon making their return, Iron Hill Brewery will debut a new beer called ‘Unfinished Business’.
