Shoppers filled Bosak’s Choice Meats, grabbing all the last-minute essentials ahead of Easter.

OLYPHANT, Pa. — Folks in Lackawanna County are making sure to pick up the last of their holiday groceries.

The parking lot at Bosak’s Choice Meats in Olyphant was completely full on Friday as customers bought their Easter meat, from fresh and smoked kielbasa to ham.

The owner tells Newswatch 16 that this is the second busiest holiday of the year, behind Christmas.

“Ah, it’s very, very busy, nonstop, and we just keep going until we shut down at five o’clock. The crew will be burnt out, we’re all burnt out, and we will be done. Tomorrow is not as bad, but today’s gonna be insane,” said Tom Bosak.

Bosak’s Choice Meats will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Easter Sunday.
