A 3-year-old child was flown to Pittsburgh Friday afternoon after an accident in North Strabane Township.
According to a Washington County 911 supervisor, the accident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. on Trotwood Drive. The child was injured by a lawn tractor.
According to the supervisor, the child suffered a leg injury and was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Pittsburgh.
North Strabane’s fire and police departments responded to the accident, as well as Ambulance and Chair.
