A pre-kindergarten teacher’s aide at the Jersey Shore is accused of sexually assaulting several children over the course of a decade, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Shaun Stebbins, 43, was arrested on Sunday, March 29, in connection with charges involving the assaults of multiple young victims between 2014 and 2025, officials said.
Investigators explained that Stebbins was found to have had committed sexual acts with children under the age of 13 and he created child pornography that was in his possession.
Court documents reveal Stebbins allegedly sexually assaulted four children, including one as young as five years old.
The court documents also shared that Stebbins allegedly raped a young girl while she was in his care, and another child reported that Stebbins sexually assaulted him multiple times a week. It is also alleged that Stebbins watched a victim shower, creating child pornography by taking pictures of the victim while she was nude, and also showed the victim child pornography.
Officers with the Somers Point Police Department arrested Stebbins and he is currently being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility while he waits for his detention hearing.
Officials told NBC10 that they think there could be more victims out there.

Stebbins is currently employed as a pre-kindergarten teacher’s aide at Woodbine Elementary School but officials said none of the victims were his students.
None of the reported victims were Stebbins’ students, officials said.
Woodbine School District Superintendent Adrienne Breitinger, Ed.D. sent a statement on the arrest to parents.

He is scheduled for a detention hearing on Monday, April 6 at 9 a.m.
