Set Your Sights on New Goals (Not Ghouls) with the USPS
ERIE, PA – There’s no reason to be scared completing a personal profile and applying for immediate openings. USPS has a treat for every attendee at local job fairs.
Applying for positions is now easier thanks to the new Workforce Planning Specialists who are on-hand to provide personal assistance at local job fairs. “Building a profile is the first step, access our online website, then click and apply”, said Ryan Myers, Manager, workforce planning and complement. “Completing a profile is key and our staff is on-hand to answer questions and make the process quick and seamless”.
Most applicants are familiar with letter carriers and clerks, but few know about the more than 2,000 different job titles once you become a career employee. Opportunities are available in departments such as Workforce Planning, Information and Technology, Communications, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Logistics and Infrastructure, Sales, Inspection Service and Postal Police, Processing and Distribution and Retail and Delivery.
Other reasons to apply with the USPS are financial stability, paid leave, health benefits, growth, flexibility and three retirement incomes: Postal Annuity, Social Security and Thrift Savings Plan – all excellent reasons to apply to the most trusted federal agency in the country.
Openings will continue to be announced on a rolling basis throughout the year for every state at www.usps.com/careers.
To learn more, the Postal Service invites job seekers to attend the following USPS job fair to fill immediate openings:
