On Saturday, customers picked up baked goods at Lynn Sandy’s in Scranton‘s Southside.
The line was out the door when Newswatch 16 was there just before 11.
According to bakery workers, the line has been growing since 6:45 a.m., and for some in Scranton, it’s an easter tradition to stock up on all the baked goods.
Jim Osborne of Scranton said, “This is the best spot in town. It’s a great spot. Everybody loves the bakery.”
Osborne said he waited about 20 minutes to get to the front of the line so he could pick up his caramel cream pie and coconut bunny.
He says the long wait was to be expected at the bakery.
